Missing Batched Journals and Reports

Payment Processing Software  Credit Card Software Q&A

Q. Some of the batched journals are missing and I cannot print the reports.

A. In very old versions this can be caused incompatibility with the latest processor requirements. Some processors do not handle those well and only the latest versions break the large batches artificially into smaller batches to protect the user from communication failures that can occure in this case. Please follow the following procedure closely:

  1. Call the Processor PC Support or your merchant account provider IMMEDIATELY and check every batch that has been successfully made or EVEN ATTEMPTED. This will protect you from double batching or losing money.
  2. If everything is OK, attempt to batch all outstanding transactions.
  3. Check your Hard Drive for errors and scan the computer for viruses.
  4. Upgrade to the latest version.
  5. You may be able to view and print the batches that appear missing by opening to the CreditLine Batch Archive Dialog and selecting Daily Backup or Before Batch radio buttons to see whether there are alternative existing backups.
